Eumer Shrimp Tube 2

1. Select Eumer shrimp tube, inner lining tube and a hook mounting tube.

2. Apply heat to form a small collar on one end of the inner lining tube.

3. Place the tube in the vise and begin the tying with orange thread.

4. Tie some nutria beaver fur on the groove to form the tail for the fly.

5. Take two brown rooster hackle feathers.

6. Tear the fibers off the quills, but leave some at the tip.  Cut the quill tip fibers straight across to form triangles.

7. Tie the hackle quills alongside the fly tails so that they curve away from the tube.

8. Tie in the silver tinsel.

9. Tie in the body hackle of brown rooster.

10. Dub red spectra dubbing onto the tying thread.

11. This is how the finished, dubbed body looks like.

12. Wind the body hackle onto the body and secure.

13. Wind the silver tinsel opposite way the hackle was wound to lock the hackle in place.

14. Whip finish and apply a drop of varnish.

15. Apply heat to form a collar ti the head of the tube.

16. Your fly is ready for use.
